Background 

Nicco Green is a 3rd born in a family of 3. Born and raised in Kitui County. Growing up in Ukambani is a challenge by itself, A land with no water, in fact, his brother and him used to travel almost 20km in early 2000s just to get water with a donkey for the entire family. A land with no farming or irrigation schemes, and that meant Education be the only way outta poverty.
Unfortunately, Nicco Green was not a book warmer, and as a young boy, he thought otherwise, he was a lover of football and always dreamed of becoming a professional footballer and was practicing everyday to make football his way out of poverty but his ', African parents' never saw that as a career one would build on. And therefore he was forced the Education Way! Today, He holds a Degree in Travel and Tourism Mgnt from Mount Kenya University.

Music Journey 

Nicco Green began his music career in a group of 3 called G.G.A MUSIQ. With the group, they recorded one album entitled NGAI WA WENDO and a few singles including NABISHA, FOR YOU, MIAKA TANO YA MWANASIASA and NCHI YA AMANI in 2013. The group took a break of two years from doing music to other personal interests.

'Mimi sikuwa nataka kufanya mziki, I just wanted to be a professional footballer, one day,I play for Man United, but hiyo sasa ilibaki kuwa story kwa Sababu wazazi hawakukubali, and I don't blame them, coz kwao at that time, football was not a career.'
After tumefanya kazi za kinyumbani ama tumetoka shule na bro wangu, Peter, tulikuwa tunacheza ball hapo home tu, then usiku tunasikiza magomma, Reggae, kwanza Dj Stano na Jeff Mwangemi, Metro Fm, ama weekend's count down za Kenyan Urban Music, kina Nameless, Nonini, Jua Cali, Klepto, Amani , Wahu etc...nilijipata nikijua hizo nyimbo word by word and that's how I started loving music though I never thought of me becoming an artist or even writing my own.
I got Saved in form 1, started going to CU meetings, prayers and rallies. In form 2, I met Salman, who was in form 3 then, and he introduced me into song writing, and performing. He had written like 2 albums, so he started teaching me how to compose a song and all that. Salman, I'm forever Grateful.
During our holiday seasons, I formed G.G.A GROUP - GOD'S GREEN ARMY made of Pijez, Shaddio and I, Mr. Green! 
With the group, we only recorded an album 'Ngai wa Wedo' and a few singles.

'After kuacha kurecord na group, nilianza kwenda School Missions na mayouths wengine, and because I had no new music, I started writing spoken words just to diversy my art, I did that for 2 years but I started missing the recording sessions bana, so in 2016, I wrote an Afro Kamba Song 'Tala' recorded with my young uncle, Amie.
